Portraiture with Natasha Hayball

Community volunteers of all ages make a big difference to the lives of others. Natasha Hayball's portrait workshops helped people learn new techniques and take part in a celebration of how volunteers contribute to the quality of life in our community. As part of the Celebrating Volunteers project.

With funding from the Arts Council of England and Sid Valley Help, a local voluntary and community umbrella organisation, we collaborated with South West Art for their Summer School in August 2023.

Sidmouth School of Art created a programme of work to help to harness through art, the spirit of volunteering in Sidmouth. The portrait workshops were part of our celebrating volunteers in our community and the artworks will go on to make up a final piece to be displayed on Sidmouth Wallspace, our public gallery space overlooking Ham East car park in Sidmouth.

Natasha ran two free portraiture sessions on the August 7-8 at South West Art, Sidmouth.
